1974 ABRIL 25 (03:15 p.m.)
Quelhas Street, 2
Occupied by a force of the Shooting Range of Serra da Carregueira.
On April 25, 1974, the National Broadcaster was installed in this building. The MFA included it in its plan of operations as an objective to be occupied, in order to be used as a reserve station for the service of the Movement, and also to prevent the regime from using it in its favor. The action was carried out by a company of the Shooting Career of Serra da Carregueira, with about one hundred soldiers commanded by captains Luís Pimentel and Frederico Morais. The achievement of the goal was confirmed to the MFA Command Post at 03:15. Around 08:30 was read one of the MFA communiqués.
